The Spirit drove Jesus out into the desert,
Do you think Jesus was trying to get away?
Do you ever feel like if you could only just get away for a little while?
We hear stories about ‘frazzled ‘mothers locking themselves in the bathroom, just to get away for a few minutes of time for themselves; to think, to re-fuel, to start fresh.
After a few minutes, Mom says “OK, I’m good. I’m ready to go again.”
She can resume her calling, her life, her reason for being.
And so, to us.
Repent, I’m good.
This is the time of fulfillment.
Believe in the gospel.
Love God, Love others, Make disciples.
No more floods!
“I will recall the covenant I have made between me and you and all living beings,
so that the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all mortal beings.”
