“Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be powerful earthquakes, famines, and plagues…” Luke
This week’s readings are not so comforting. Such readings should indeed bring forth awe and fear, while at the same time showing us who is at the center of the universe.
We must live out our faith that God’s plans for us are peace and not disaster.
And, Advent is coming soon!
He will give us words and wisdom.
We await, then, the arrival. “O Come, O Come,” will be our prayer.
