The following is a transcript of the presentation made at last Sunday's Knights Communion Breakfast:

Every worthwhile organization has its movers and shakers; those people who make things happen and keep the ball rolling and will not stand by while others do all the heavy lifting.

These people are all too often overlooked, unappreciated and unheralded but without whom the organization would stumble and falter. It would stagnate or otherwise fail to accomplish its mission or achieve its stated goals. 

Well, I don't have to tell you that the Knights of Columbus are a worthwhile organization and we too have our indispensable people.

We are gathered here today to honor just such a man.

Our honoree has quietly and without the harsh glare of a spotlight around him, risen above the rest and distinguished himself as the "go to" Knight, the Knight has--without having been asked to do so--taken up the flag of service and carried it forward for the sake of the Council, becoming in and of himself a rallying point around which we, his brother Knights, may gather to do the good work for which the Knights of Columbus are known and revered the world over.

Some are leaders only because of their titles, but some are leaders because of their actions.

Our honoree is action personified!

Ladies, honored guests and fellow Knights, I am rather humbled to present to you the 2025-2026 St. Pius X Council 10332 Knight of the Year
